Lost? DIR-ECT-IONS To The Rescue!

Recently, the team at Maison Nouveau was presented with this great new service which has now become our lifesaver. It's called Dial Directions and it's this great new service which takes driving direction and voice recognition software, puts it in a blender and makes it accessible for your mobile device. You call DIR-ECT-IONS (347-328-4667) tell the lovely voice on the other end where you are and where you need to be; and in seconds turn-by-turn directions are texted to your phone. Yes, a real use for texting besides "lol"-ing. Best of all the service is completely free except for the charges of calling area code 347, but the majority of us have thousands of unused minutes and unlimited texting.

SF Chronicle Finally Gets One Right

Being the Creative Director for Maison Nouveau I have direct contact with reps for multiple Bay Area publications. Typically, I find myself criticizing the reps for allowing editorial to write Bay Area Real Estate fiction, such as "The Bubble is Bursting!" or the "The Sky is Falling!". Well there is no getting around facts, and April 07's numbers prove that I haven't been just standing on my soap box.
