The stats report resale single family residences and condos as well as new homes for January 08 and the % change from January 07. Although the total number of transactions by zip isn't statistically significant, the pattern is familiar. The number of closed transactions is down pretty much everywhere (18 of 20 zip codes). On the other hand, prices are holding up best in the higher-end neighborhoods. Note that 7 zip codes had higher median prices and 12 had lower medians. Some of the best results were achieved, for example, in 94705, 94618 and 94611.
