How Walkable Is Your Home?

Another interesting tool for home buyers and sellers. WalkScore is a website that calculates the "walkability" of a neighborhood based on nearby stores, restaurants, schools and parks. Unfortunately, you will probably never see this in action on a real estate website as it conflicts with the fact that not everyone can walk. But take it for a test drive and see where your home ranks; we've done our office address below.

Wine & Whiners - MN Special Event

Please join us for our first ever Wine and Whiners gathering
Friday, May 2nd from 5-7pm

What is Wine & Whiners?
Wine and Whiners is an opportunity to have a glass of wine with other adults without having to hire a babysitter. Bring your little ones and join us in the Maison Nouveau backyard for a casual end to the week.

What do I bring?
Bring your kiddo(s) and a bottle of wine. This will be like a wine-o potluck. Everyone can share and we will provide a little something to keep the kids sated too.

What if I can’t make it but REALLY want to come?
Don’t worry. We will be hosting this event 5 times this year.
May 2nd 5-7 | June 6th 5-7 | July 11th 5-7 | August 1st 5-7 | September 5th 5-7

Call 594-7700 with any questions and we’ll see you there!

Forecast: Big Quake Likely In California [Really?]

California's expecting another big earthquake? Shocking. According to new calculations by the U.S. Geological Survey in Pasadena have confirmed there is a 99.7 percent chance a magnitude 6.7 quake or larger will strike in the next 30 years. Again, not too shocking after the rough last few months we have had here in the Bay Area. Being a full service real estate firm in the Bay Area we know a thing or two about how to prepare an earthquake, so don't hesitate to call our office to discuss some updates you can make to prepare your home.
